Whenver I click the virtual desktop icon on the taskbar, it takes a very long time to come up, even though my specs are way over par the recommended minimum of MS. And even when it comes up, transfering windows from one desktop to another is an extremely laggy process.
Is anybody else experiencing this?

I have exactly the same problem.Switching virtual desktops in Windows 11 is painfully slow!I have assigned a mousebutton to change desktop forward and backwords.In W10 vitual desktops were blazing fast,but in W11 slow as a snail.

Instantaneous here on my laptop even while CPU has quite high load because I'm upgrading to next Insider dev version...

Somehow the problem of cycling between virtual desktops seems to be disapeared!Now switching between desktops is fast again without delay!
