Three Things You Need to Know about Options Trading and Order Types on Webull.
1]The Order Type [How many options order types are there? ]
Opening a position: Limit order, Stop Limit order
Closing a position: Market order, Limit order, Stop Order, Stop Limit order
Currently, we do not support bracket orders or trailing stop orders for options.
2]Time-in-Force[Can I place a GTC order for options? ]
You can only place an order with DAY enabled under Time-in-Force.
Currently, GTC orders are unavailable for options trading.
3]Trading Hours for Options [Can I trade options during extended hours?]
- We currently do not allow options trading during extended hours.
- During the trading days before the expiration date, clients can trade options during regular market hours [9:30 to 16:00 ET]. Please note: Certain options trade until 4:15 PM EDT.
- On the day of expiration.
You can trade options before 14:00 EDT. No new positions can be opened after 14:00 EDT, but you can still close your positions before 16:00 EDT.
