How To Modify Remote Desktop Port Number On Windows 10

1. Launch the Registry Editor [press Win+R, type regedit, press Enter]:
   
   
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp:
   
   
3. Perform a double-click on the PortNumber value:
   
   
4. Amend the value to Decimal mode:
   
   
5. Modify the default port from 3389 to your desired port number. For example, set it to be 33089:

Checking the access via the amended RDP port

1. Apply the Win + R hotkey.
