My laptop is HP 15 d008tu. I bought this laptop in 2014 for Rs. 30000.
It worked fine for about 2 yrs .
But one day when I powered up my laptop ,it doesn't show anything on screen and it's caps and num led blinks 1 time continuously .
When I checked my laptop by HP service center they said that my laptop motherboard had shorted out and needs to be replaced . They told me that motherboard replacement costs me for Rs. 10000.
Now I found same motherboard of same model on internet for Rs.4500
But used .
So my question is that. Should I purchase this motherboard and replace it myself . Would it work .
Please answer me quick.
[1$ = 70Rs]
Thanks for advance.

Did you verify if the removing the sticks of ram and replacing them with known sticks[borrowed from a friend] brought your laptop to life? I've had a number of people's laptops come in since they had a flashing LED on the keyboard until it was found that the ram had died. Your laptop comes shipped with a single stick of 2GB DDR3-1600MHz ram. You should easily be able to take working stick and see if the laptop is revived.
