For the first time in 14 years, LSU has claimed the Men's College World Series title. No. 5 LSU defeated No. 2 Florida 18-4 in Game 3 of the championship series
The Tigers took Game 1 of the series in an 11-inning thriller but suffered a 24-4 loss in Game 2. And though they could have been down and out after that 20-run loss, the Tigers bounced back in tremendous fashion, setting a new record for most hits in a MCWS championship game with 24
With a 53-17 record to end the season and the program's seventh title overall, LSU showed it was the best team in the country
On Monday, the full field of 64 teams in the 2023 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament will be unveiled, after the 16 regional hosts were announced Sunday night. The regionals will start on June 2, and the super regionals will be a week later. The College World Series starts on June 16
This year's College World Series looks to be filled with plenty of excitement. Wake Forest has looked like a juggernaut all season, with the Demon Deacons entering as the top overall seed. There also will be plenty of MLB intrigue, with LSU and Dylan Crews, regarded as perhaps the best draft prospect in years, taking center stage in a postseason run filled with other top prospects

NCAA baseball regional sites 2023
The NCAA announced the regional sties and host schools on May 28. The national seeding of each host school was announced May 29
The 2023 NCAA baseball regular season and conference tournament season has come to an end. It's now time for some postseason baseball
Last year, Tennessee looked poised to be the runaway favorite after a dominant regular season. No team has replicated that historic success. Wake Forest enters as the on-paper favorite after finishing the season with a 47-10 record and leading the nation in ERA, but there are plenty of tough teams the Demon Deacons will have to get past to win
LSU will certainly be a team to keep an eye on. The Tigers boast Dylan Crews, widely considered to be a generational draft prospect, and Paul Skenes, who is often considered the top pitcher in the 2023 draft class. With that level of star power, the Tigers should always be a fun team to watch
