Some popular colors seem to be missing.
Despite being outsold by theJeep Wrangler, the macho Ford Bronco is still doing extremely well. So well, in fact, that the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor has already been sold out. Order books for the 2023 model year are set to open on August 15, with scheduling starting on September 22 and production commencing on November 14. Ongoing production delays still plague the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne with many orders being pushed back by a model year, and many customers are missing out on their original color choices.
According to the latest from Ford's Dealer Connection website, the 2023 model year exterior paint palette consists of 11 colors, and that could cause irritation as some colors may be different or missing from the original leak posted earlier this month.
According to the original leak, the 2023 Ford Bronco's palette would consist of Fighter Jet Gray [similar to Cactus Gray], Peak Blue Metallic, Yellowstone, Eruption Green Metallic, Code Orange, the vibrant Race Red, the muted Terrain, Lead Foot Gray, Iconic Silver metallic, Velocity Blue Metallic, Robin's Egg Blue, and standard issue Oxford White and Shadow Black. That's a total of 13 colors. This doesn't include the Wimbledon White paint job expected on the 2023 Heritage Edition [the same paint color covering the original Bronco in 1966]. But as the image above shows, not all of these colors seem to be making their way to the 2023 offerings after all.
The latest 2023 model year leak, courtesy of Bronco6G.com forum user "illverado," states that the original poster of the leak worked at Ford, and leaked this screen crab from a dealer-only website. Here, the color palette has shrunk to 11 colors: Velocity Blue Metallic, Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Eruption Green Metallic, Shadow Black, Azure Gray Metallic, Antimatter Blue Metallic, Iconic Silver Metallic, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Cactus Gray, Race Red, and Oxford White.
Strangely, the color palette is missing newly announced colors such as Lead Foot Gray, the iconic Robin's Egg Blue also doesn't make the cut, the popular Area 51 still doesn't feature, and special edition colors such as Wimbledon White are also not included. Ford must be scrambling to get all of its special editions ready for the 2023 model year, because judging by this color palette, things must be messy at Ford HQ.

Ford has just announced that it will be opening orders for the 2023 Ford Bronco in August, and that's not even the best bit. From reports, it seems like it will come in many exciting colors; you'll be able to choose from 11 color options.
The paint specialist Automotive Touchup website has leaked information on the colors that may be available in the upcoming model.
We see a rebirth of the distinctive look previously offered on the original Bronco – but this time with some modern upgrades, the Fighter Jet Gray, which will be joined by Robin's Egg Blue.
Code Orange and Race Red make a reappearance, along with two new metallic shades: Peak Blue Metallic and Eruption Green Metallic.
If you prefer a more subdued look, the Terrain and Lead Foot Gray color options offer muted shades, while still being eye-catching. The Iconic Silver Metallic and Velocity Blue Metallic colors have also been selected to give drivers even more variety in their options.
