Why my laptop shuts down at 30% battery?

hi everyone, coming with good news as i have managed to successfully repair the bios issue. The problem was indeed with the ME region of the bios, now my laptop does not have this 30 minutes lockdown behavior anymore, and the Intel Management Engine appears in the device manager of the operating system. I will now write down the steps i did for getting this thing sorted, hopefully some will find it helpful:

- disassemble the unit and identify your bios chip;

- take out the cmos battery;

- use the CH341a programmer with a clipping adapteur to access the bios firmware from a remote computer and save a copy[backup] of it; for more info on how-to for this step you could give a reading to the win-raid forums; this was a tricky part for me as initialy the programmer was unable to detect the bios chip, after a bit of wiggling i plugged in the power battery of the laptop and... success, the bios chip became accessible for read/write. The battery issue was due to insufficient power to wake up the chip considering the bus array of the bios-chip circuitry could not be satisfied by the power supply from the programmer alone, but i think this is relative to the laptop model overall;

- i then injected a clean ME into the backed up bios, for this i used a software called 'Easy Intel Clean ME region tool', u can find it for download via google and is working ; i have overwritten an identical version [release] of the ME from the repository pack [see win-raid for the packs], and saved the new bios;

- i then erased the bios-chip and re-wrote it with the new, freshly saved bios;

- assemble the unit and give it a go, good luck

thank you for your support
