Public speaking. Some people take it all in their stride; some people may get a little nervous. Others would instead pour piping hot coffee on their genitals than stand in front of their peers and deliver a good presentation or a speech. No matter which camp you fall into there is, however, no excuse for lack of creativity in these days of memes and powerpoint. Even if you are one of the lucky few who do have the gift of the gab, you can jazz up your speech with an infinite variety of powerpoint design, quotes, and funny pictures. Or maybe yeah, you can admit that public speaking just isnt your thing and the most you can manage is standing on stage, shaking slightly and pressing the next' button on your powerpoint slides. Perhaps you just cannot be arsed anymore. Nowadays, you can let your powerpoint presentation do the talking for you.

Actually, this is exactly what they're supposed to be learning NOT to do. It's a science class FFS. Never get up in front of a group of people and tell them things if you can't back up your facts. You knew this for ages but don't know where from? Fine, look it up anyway. First, to make sure you haven't been full of BS for 10 years, and second, to give your audience a start if they wish to do their own studies [or to fact-check you]. This is honestly not A-material, despite what a couple of you think. We revere Darwin over Wallace because, although both presented a similarly described process, only one of them exhaustively listed both the arguments for and the arguments AGAINST his thesis. This slide is funny, but it's a funny fail not a funny triumph.
