Root Samsung A50 Android 11

TWRP Recovery for Samsung Galaxy A50 Android 11. How to Root Samsung Galaxy A50 Android 11 with TWRP 3.5.0 + Magisk. The TWRP Recovery support Galaxy A50 One UI 3.1 Android 11 firmware, Android security patch level: 1 March 2021. It may be works for SM-A505F, SM-A505FN, SM-A505G, SM-A505GN. The TWRP 3.5.0 comes with Magisk Patched. Use it at your own risk! Follow the instructions carefully and Make sure to backup all your important data!

Downloads

• Enable Developer Options: go to Settings -> About device. Tap 7 times on Build number to enable Developer options.
• Enable OEM unlock and USB debugging options ( Settings -> Developer options )
• Make sure the bootloader are unlocked, If not read How to unlock Bootloader
• Download and Extract ODIN v3.13.1 from https://odindownload.com/SamsungOdin/
• Download and Install Samsung Mobile Phone Drivers
• Download TWRP_v3.5.0_A505_A11_Magisk.tar
• Download Magisk-v22.0.apk
• Download multidisabler-samsung-2.6.zip or latest

Flashing TWRP 3.5.0 and Root Galaxy A50 Android 11:

1. 1. Make sure the bootloader are unlocked, OEM unlock option is grey out
      
   2. Enter Download Mode : Turn Power Off. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down key together, while pressing these keys, connect the phone to computer, then press volume up once.
   3. Open ODIN, IMPORTANT!: Uncheck Auto Reboot in Options!
   4. Flashing TWRP_v3.5.0_A505_A11_Magisk.tar as AP in ODIN, then click start.
   5. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! Dont remove USB Cable, let it connected. Press and hold Volume Down + Power Key, when the screen blank quickly press and hold Volume Up + Power key, when Samsung Logo appears release Power key only, keep pressing Volume Up key until TWRP Recovery Appears.
   6. Select Wipe -> Format data, type yes and confirm
   7. Select Install multidisabler-samsung-2.6.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
   8. Select Reboot to Recovery
   9. When SAMSUNG logo appears wait for a few minutes or more then press and hold volume down + power key until the screen blank
   10. Setup the phone

Rooting if necessary

1. 1. Connect Phone to Internet
   2. Install Magisk-v22.0.apk and Open it. Magisk will ask to do additional setups. Let it do its job and the app will automatically reboot your device.
   3. Done! You can use Root Checker to check it, Enjoy!

Notes / Warning!

1. Use at your own risk, Im not responsible for bricking your device.
2. Using the incorrect file may brick your device.
3. If your target device has a custom firmware flash counter, Rooting will trigger it. If youre lucky, Triangle Away has support for your device and can be used to reset the counter.
4. If you have a KNOX-enabled device, Rooting will trip the KNOX WARRANTY VOID status !
5. If your device storage is encrypted, Rooting will wipe your data !
6. If you have locked bootloaders, flashing one of these will probably brick your device with the exception of Nexus devices, which will usually automatically OEM unlock and wipe your data !
7. Make sure to backup your important data before root it.
