2023 Yamaha YZ450F rumors

Show Presented by Fly Racing Earlier this morning, Yamaha released details about the all-new YZ450F motocross bike, one of the best-kept secrets of the year. While we all knew that a completely redesigned bike was on its way from the Blu Cru, no juicy details were available through our normal pre-production sources. We heard several rumors ranging from mild to wild; some going as far as claiming the new bike to be steel framed with a forward-racing cylinder head. Alas, the bike remains in an aluminum chassis with the same rearward-facing cylinder head that was debuted over a decade ago in 2010. The new YZ450F is, however, significantly changed and we were able to score some Zoom facetime with Yamaha’s Mike Ulrich to dive straight into the news about the new machine and get to the good stuff that’s buried in the news release that we posted a couple of hours ago. In a somewhat otherwise dull 2023 model year in the 450 division, the YZ450F certainly gives us something to look forward to this testing season. Looking new YZ65-125-250 2-strokes they are new generation so we might get something similar to next generation 4-strokes. They are slick and cool looking bikes. If you measure bike and compare to ktm its not really more wide just shoulder are different shape and that can be updated now. The YZ450F should be new, the 250F could be new, KX450 should be new, Austrians are new, Austrian moto 2-strokes are maybe going to be fuel injected, the CRF450 could get some mid generation tweaks, Triumph and Beta are on their way. I got chance to ride YZ 125 2022, this bike is amazing. You would think Suzuki would release a new platform also, to separate themselves from the new Triumph branding. You could argue that '20 was a major update for the 450 (and 21 for the 250F) even though they look similar. Big motor and chassis changes, in my opinion. Regardless, I'm sure something new is on the way. Shouldn't there be Japan Nationals spy photos showing up here soon? Rumor back in December is they were testing there chassis with a Zuke motor in it. you are correct, the dislikers are clueless. they’re all about trick designs on their pickup or Yeti coolers, but somehow it’s not tough front’n enough to wax about the radical nature of motocross machine design - this means how it LOOKS. yamaha needs their 1990 KX moment, and desperately. Something about those older magazine photos make the bikes look so fun What is Yamaha coming out with for 2023?Completely redesigned for 2023, updates include new exhaust and intake port shapes, larger-diameter titanium intake valves, new forged aluminum piston, new cylinder body, crankshaft, and balancer assembly, and a switch from wet sump to dry sump lubrication.
