The Amazon can be used as a long range fighter that can utilize magic.

As the most versatile class in Diablo II: Resurrected, the Amazon excels in ranged combat by using a bow or javelin. However, the class is also proficient in melee combat by using a spear, and they're also well versed in magic, which increases their combat capability. This class is also known to have a wide variety of passive skills that work well on almost any kind of build.

1. Lightning Javazon Build

Lightning Javazon is a well-rounded build that is effective in melee or range. It deals massive damage, and it is durable enough to survive multiple heavy hits. It is also considered to be one of the best mob killers in Diablo II: Resurrection as it can wipe out groups of enemies in an instant.

Skills

• Power Strike (Max): Your early level lightning skill. Max this skill since it gives synergy to all of your lightning skills.
• Lightning Bolt (Max): This is best used on a single target in range.
• Charged Strike (Max): Your most damaging skill against large, single target enemies.
• Lightning Strike (Max): This works like chain lightning from Sorceress. Max this to provide synergy to all of your lightning skills.
• Lightning Fury (Max): This skill is what makes Amazon the best class for wiping out mobs.

Then put one point on each skill below:

• Inner Sight: Lowers enemy defense.
• Slow Missiles: A one-point wonder. Makes enemy missiles move slower.
• Dodge: Provides dodge chance in melee.
• Avoid: Provides dodge chance against projectiles.
• Evade: Increases dodge chance when walking or running.
• Critical Strike: Lets you deal double damage by chance.
• Penetrate: Increases attack rating.
• Jab: For dealing with lightning immune monsters.
• Poison Javelin: Can also be used in combination with Jab.
• Plague Javelin: Same purpose as Poison Javelin.

Stat Points Distribution

• Strength: Place points here until you meet the requirements for gear.
• Dexterity: Put points here until you reach the max block for shield.
• Vitality: The majority of your stat points should go here.
• Energy: No need to invest here. The equipment and mana potions can provide enough for the build.

• Body armor with Enigma rune word (Jah, Ith, Ber): Grants level 1 Teleport skill.
• Increase attack speed
• Plus to Lightning damage

It is also recommended to hire an Act 2 Desert Mercenary and give it a polearm with Infinity Rune Word (Ber, Mal, Ber, Ist). It allows you to effectively deal with enemies that are immune to lightning attacks.

2. Spearazon Build

This is a spear-wielding melee build with a powerful Valkyrie companion on your side.

Skills

• Jab (Max): This is going to be your normal attack. Jab lets you attack three times in a quick succession. It is a powerful skill that is already available at level 1.
• Fend (Max): Fend deals large damage by striking multiple targets. Use this skill for striking mobs.
• Valkyrie (Max): Summon the Valkyrie to assist you in taking some hits for you. It can also deal good damage.
• Decoy (Max): Max this to increase the life of Valkyrie, making it really hard to take down.

Then you can boost the capabilities of your Amazon and Valkyrie with the following passive skills. It's up to you on how to distribute your remaining skill points.

• Dodge: Grants a chance to dodge melee attacks.
• Avoid: Works like Dodge but for missile attacks.
• Evade: This passive will trigger while walking or running.
• Critical Strike: Your most powerful offensive passive. It provides a chance to deal double damage.
• Penetrate: This will increase your attack rating.

As a warning, Critical Strike, Dodge, Evade, and Pierce has diminishing returns. So putting a lot of skill points on these skills are not worth it.

Stat Points Distribution

• Strength: Put points here until you meet the gear requirement.
• Dexterity: Put points here until you meet the gear requirement.
• Vitality: Majority of your stat points should go here since this is a melee build.
• Energy: Don't put points here.

• Spear with Breath of the Dying rune word (Vex, Hel, El, Eld, Zod, Eth)

3. Bowazon Build

A basic bow build that uses Multiple Shot, Guided Arrow, or Strafe depending on what works best in a certain situation.

Skills

• Multiple Shot (Max): Best for cleaning up mobs.
• Guided Arrow (Max): Works well for chasing enemies. This is the best arrow skill for PVP.
• Strafe (Max): The preferred skill for a single target as it deals high damage per second. However, Amazon will be stuck in place until all arrows are fired, leaving you vulnerable. So it's best to have a tank taking the frontline while using this skill.
• Valkyrie (Max): This will serve as your meat shield to tank the damage for you. It can also deal a large amount of damage and receive bonuses from your passives.

You still have a lot of remaining points left. It's up to you how you want to distribute them on the below skills:

• Magic Arrow: Aside from being a prerequisite skill, this can be a backup when you run out of arrows and badly need to continue firing arrows.
• Inner Sight: Lowers enemy defense.
• Critical Strike: Provides a chance to double your damage.
• Dodge: Provides some chance to avoid damage.
• Slow Missiles: A single point on this passive can make a big difference. You will notice how your enemy projectiles become slower and easier to avoid.
• Avoid: Grants a chance to avoid projectiles fired by enemies.
• Penetrate: Increases the attack rating of your Amazon and Valkyrie.
• Decoy: Good for distracting opponents. It also gives synergy to Valkyries and increases her life.
• Evade: Increases your chance to dodge when walking or running.
• Pierce: Your arrows can pass through enemies, letting you hit more foes.

Stat Points Distribution

• Strength: Only put points here for gear requirement only. Don't put more than you need.
• Dexterity: You can place more points here if you desire to increase your damage, attack rating, and armor.
• Vitality: The remaining of your points should go here.
• Energy: No need to put points here.

4. Freezing Arrow Build

This is an effective crowd control bow build thanks to Freezing Arrow and Ice Arrow.

Skills

• Freezing Arrow (Max): A powerful area of effect skill that can freeze groups of enemies and chill bosses. This is the skill that you'll be firing regularly.
• Ice Arrow (Max): Your level 18 temporary Freezing Arrow. It may not deal the same damage as Freezing Arrow, but its freeze duration is longer and it costs less mana. Max this to provide synergy to Freezing Arrow.
• Cold Arrow (Max): Max this as well to give synergy to Freezing Arrow. It's useful on your early levels.
• Valkyrie (Max): The one that will fight in the front for you. This is a powerful summon that is really hard to kill. If it dies, just summon it again.
  
• Decoy (Max): Max this to multiply the life of your Valkyrie.

5. Immolation Arrow Build

This bow build can burn down an area while firing explosives to deal large continuous fire damage.

Skills

• Immolation Arrow (Max): This arrow skill deals huge fire damage and leaves the area on fire to continuously burn enemies. If the passive skill Pierce is triggered, it will create another sea of fire in a different area. The skill has a one-second cooldown though. But it's alright since you have Exploding Arrow to spam.
• Exploding Arrow (Max): The skill that you're going to fire while Immolation Arrow is on cooldown. From the name itself, this can make your arrow explode, dealing large fire damage to mobs. Max this to also increase the damage of Immolation Arrow.
• Fire Arrow (Max): The first skill that you're going to use since it's available at level 1. Max this to increase the damage of Immolation Arrow and Exploding Arrow.
• Valkyrie (Max): The one that will tank the damage for you while you're burning your enemies.
• Decoy (Max): Multiplies the life of Valkyrie.
