Spatial Audio allows you to enjoy immersive sound on compatible headphones by converting stereo audio into a surround sound experience.

When should I use spatial audio?

Spatial Audio enables you to hear three-dimensional audio from supported videos that follow the movement of your iPhone or iPad. It effectively recreates a cinema-style experience, where sounds appear to be coming from all around you - front, behind, from the side, even above your head.

Is spatial audio worth turning on?

Spatial audio shines best when you have the time and ability to focus on the content. Spatial audio definitely creates a more immersive soundscape. If you're willing to spend the money and find the time to track down spatial audio movies and music, it's worth it.

Should I on spatial sound?

Spatial sound provides an enhanced atmosphere which traditional surround sound formats cannot. With spatial sound, all your movies and games will sound better. Some games, movies, and shows can natively support spatial sound – which provides the highest level of audio immersion and location accuracy.
