4 mo ago The 2023 Ridgeline is now live on Honda's website. There has been a $660 price increase. The Ridgeline now starts at $40,095 including destination. Honda still does not know the RTL has auto high beams even though they rarely work as advertised. They eliminated the "Function" packages and relabeled them with different options. The 2023 RTL in Radiant Red ($43,470) is now $5K more than what I paid in 2020 ($38,500). That is crazy. Even the Ridgeline is getting too expensive
for many folks. I thought they were eliminating the Obsidian Blue Pearl color choice. Maybe I got my vehicles confused. Joined

We all got so carried away but the Pilot has to come first. The next gen RL should follow next year. 2022

It's too bad they couldn't have made the price hike $560. Now everyone will be saying "Ridgeline starts over $40k!" instead of "starting prices on the Ridgeline still squeak by under $40k!". Suddenly, a $100 sounds like $1000. Perception is key.

other vehicles have gone up by that much or more so it is what it is.
I was just wondering about this as I'm about to buy a Black Edition and noticed when I go to Honda's site it now directs me to the 2023s with no change (I was REALLY hoping the ancient head unit would get an upgrade). Any idea when we will see the "new" 2023 models roll on to lots?

Based on no changes, except for a hefty price hike, I'd get a 2022. Really no reason to purchase a 2023. Wait for the new redesign and probably save some money in the process when dealers are begging for buyers, because trade-in values will be normalized again. Joined Oct 1, 2016 · 3,530 Posts
Remember that once in a lifetime moment when you could get an E in 2019 for 36k with a deal. Sports and RTL's were 27ish and low 30's. Not much has changed other than the new front end/dual exhaust and sensing/better headlights on the Sport and RTL. Still furious how Honda raised the prices big time on the RTL's when they dumped the T trim and still no
LED DRL's I think on anything below an E. I'm sorry, no LED DRL's call it a way overpriced LX whether you want them or not. Other than now having worse headlights, the E/BE has been fair with its pricing. A lower trim consumer got screwed when they got rid of the RTS. Basically, there was too much spread between the RTL and the E when the T was eliminated and when they got rid of the RTS the Sport became the price of entry. I consider the RT to be a gimmick just an offering so Honda could say
the RL started at 29,995 for FWD. You could also argue at introduction the T was just a reason to get more bucks for the E as you didn't get much more than the RTL. You didn't see this game play with trim content on the Pilot a few years back because the competition demanded more content for price.
