Yes half of it is scripted, but the unscripted shenanigans are what make this show awesome and the most comical show NETFLIX has put on in a LONG TIME. I see alot of people didn't like that it's a "Competition" and scripted when the reality is, it's not realy a competition but a Spoof show. Three stooges type comedy. Loved it. Would love to see more of this!
• Aug 26, 2023 Really really awful. Frustrates you throughout with continuous plots that make no sense at all. Kept watching in hope it improved but if anything, it got worse. The end '1 year later' was stupid and like the full series, made no sense. Don't waste your time.
• Aug 24, 2023 This is genuinely one of the worst things I have ever had to sit through. Its so scripted it just hurts and every episode is 90% screaming. It causes me physical pain watching the people on this show ‘act'. Please, don't make a season 2
• Aug 23, 2023 I loved every inch of this show twist a d turns after episode 1 everything was so funny. You never know who or what people will do in a crisis, especially a zombie apocalypse. Worth watching at least once I watched 4 times let loose and just enjoy laughing.
• Aug 22, 2023 Zombieverse. God. Where do I even start? I really wanted to like this show. It has a fantastic premise and the very first episode estabilshes a great cast of different people that are taken out of their element and are thrown into this catastrophe. It's fairly obvious from the start that it's more a game show and severely scripted one as well but it still seems like it could be good fun so I persevered and kept watching. By the 1st episodes first 20 minutes I was intrigued as to how this would play out and how far they would take it, given that asian games show can become pretty wild. However. And this is a big however. It disappointed quickly. For those of you that don't want spoilers, I recommend you stop reading now. For the rest that wants an honest review, keep reading. You have been warned. The problems with this show comes quickly. They establish the basic rules of the zombies. 1. They react to sound. 2. Some zombies are quick. Some are slow. 3. They can't see very well in dusk/evening/night/low light settings. 4. Bites leads to either death or infection, which in turn leads to death but at a slower pace. With these very simple rules in mind, you'd think it would be fun to see how the "contestants" navigate through this world that has been built around them. And what they do is the most ignorant, stupid, brain dead shit you've ever seen. Every plan they make is beyond stupid. Every move they decide upon is mind boggling. Quite frankly, I am surprised that several of the "contestants" even "survived" for as long as they did. They constantly break all the rules set forth in the game with little to no repercussions which in turn makes it very hard to root for any of them since the stakes aren't really there. For example. In episode 2 they come across a super market. After some just.. let's say MINDFUCKINGLY bad decisions, they manage to enter the store and find more survivors in a room the zombies can not enter. Not only do they somehow choose to NOT activate the lights that can clearly be turned on from inside said room but they don't even make an attempt to assess the situation inside the store before they start walking around, gathering supplies. Said room also has a station with CCTV camera feeds from pretty much the entire store and a way to get a jingle to play with the push of a button. NONE OF WHICH THEY USE IN ANY EFFECTIVE WAY WHATSOEVER. Which also, pretty much immediately leads to deaths. The group as a whole is so incredibly dysfunctional that it is at times, hard to even get through the episode without wanting to scream in frustration. The constant bickering, the ridiculous plans that is so doomed to fail from the beginning, the way they constantly ignore the rules already set out. It's just a bit much. Instead, throughout the entire show, they keep screaming loudly when they shouldn't, make the most inane plans that constantly leads to someone "dying", keep ignoring ALL of the rules the show has presented and in general, behaving like buffoons. It would be entertaining if they tried to keep to the premise of the show but instead we get. Just. A lot of nonsense. It's always fun when you can see them break character because something is so utterly ridiculous but it also destroys the fantasy the show is trying to create because it shows us just how shockingly little the "survivors" give a shit about the premise of the show. Instead of a high octane, high stakes, adrenaline driven game show, we get a very loud, very stupid, very incoherent mess that just keep frustrating. And it's a damn shame because this could've been great. It should've been great. Fantastic. It had everything needed for it to be. Except for a clear direction and that, in the end, broke the entire proverbial camels back.

I am on ep 4 and Patricia is literally good for NOTHING..all she did was scream that ONE time she was asked for help. She's gonna sit back and do nothing at all and reach the end? And na-rae oh god how i always thought she was so irritating damn. Its her fault that one is dead and the other is infected, the doc should have left her to be eaten. Si-young, hong-chul and dex are the real OGs😎
