How to hide rows in Google Sheets on a computer 

1. Open the Google Sheet you want to edit on your Mac or PC.

2. Select the row you want to hide.

3. Right-click the selected row and choose Hide row from the menu that opens. Two arrows will appear in place of the hidden row.

You can unhide the rows by clicking one of the arrows that appeared in place of the hidden row number. The hidden row then will reappear.

How to hide rows in Google Sheets on a mobile device

1. From the Google Sheets app, open the Google Sheets document you want to edit.

2. If you're using an iPhone, simply select the rows you want to hide and tap on them. On the menu that appears, choose "Hide row." 

3. The process on an Android is similar. Tap and hold the row you want to hide. On the menu that appears above the selected row, tap the three vertical dots and choose "Hide row."

Unhide the row by repeating the above steps, then choosing Unhide row from the menu.

How to Hide Rows and Columns in Google Sheets

You can hide rows and columns in a worksheet from view. Data isn't deleted, but simply hidden until it is unhidden again, which can help you narrow your focus to only on the data needed at the given time.

Hide a Row or Column

You can hide rows and columns in a spreadsheet in order to cut down on visual clutter.

1. Right-click a row or column header.
2. Select Hide row or Hide column.

The column is hidden from view. Nothing is deleted, and its values can still be referenced by formulas, but it won't appear on the spreadsheet.

Unhide a Row or Column

When a row or column is hidden, a button with two arrows will appear on the border between the adjacent row or column headers.

1. Click the (arrows) button between two row or column headers.
   

The data reappears once again.

You can also select multiple row or column headers that contain hidden data, then right-click and select Unhide rows or Unhide columns.
