Hello, I need some help on understanding the integrated graphics and Nvidia high performance processor effects on gaming, as iv read most boards that are related to these topics and which one to choose but they have not helped me. I have fiddled for months trying to understand these two settings, as I understand, for e.g. if I play a game such as Dead Space 1, it runs well on the NVidia high performance processor with no lag nor problems. but if I run a game such as Mount and Blade Warband , it runs better performance on Integrated graphics.

Integrated graphics runs off your CPU e.g. (Intel HD 4000) on-board or integrated graphics will work for non graphic demanding games (i have even heard of battlefield 3 running on intel HD 4000) but a High end graphics card either ATI or Nvidia is a dedicated device meaning its sole purpose is graphics. if you are looking at graphic demanding games then get a high end card but if you want to play low graphic demanding games just use your on-board it will save u wasting cash on a High end card you wont use.

simply speaking , you can choose to ether run on the motherboard ( of a laptop motherboard ) or high performance NVidia processor , which is the graphics card.

Which is better integrated graphics or high performance Nvidia processor?

The bottom line is that, while a dedicated graphics card will typically provide more GPU power than integrated graphics will, the reality is that some users will be better off with integrated graphics if A) they don't have the budget to accommodate a dedicated graphics card, or B) they will only be using their system ...

Should I use the Nvidia processor or integrated graphics?

If gaming is not a priority when using your PC, an integrated graphics card is a better option due to the vast price difference. If you're looking to play less graphically intensive games, such as many in the simulation or 4X genres, it might be a better option to get a PC or a laptop with an integrated GPU.

Should I use integrated graphics or Nvidia for gaming?

Integrated graphics are never going to give you the kind of performance you need to play the latest AAA games at 4K with ray tracing enabled. By their very nature, they can't compete with dedicated graphics cards. But, that doesn't mean they can't be great for gaming, especially if you play the right kinds of games.

Which is better dedicated graphics or integrated graphics?

3. Dedicated Graphics Means Better Graphics. Most recent dedicated graphics cards will deliver better graphics performance than an integrated system. But that's only part of the story.
