You did not say if the error might be true - maybe someone else actually is connecting? Also, the remote user would get the same message even if someone logged on to the computer locally... 0

Desktop OS only supports one RDP connection at a time. Is it possible there is an old connection still there, that didn't disconnect correctly? 0

Have you checked the logs? Turn on auditing for success/failure if you haven't already. 0

Are they connecting to a VPN first? If so, it maybe be a timeout policy there. 0

Looking at the event viewer it occurred to me that in Goverlan - Power Mode - Autologin is turned on. Might that cause the other user to be dropped? 0

No. Goverlan Remote isn't RDP. Well, you can run RDP from Goverlan if you want to, but by default it uses its own program. 0

Probably. If someone logs in locally or unlocks the session, the remote user gets bumped off. 0

You could check the Event Viewer Security logs (Windows Logs > Security). It should log when someone/something logs into the computer. 1

Oh, right. I was stuck in RDP mode... if that autologin is logging in a local user, RDP will give the error in the OP, because only one user is allowed at a time. 0

More specifically it supports one user at a time, be in physically local at the machine (keyboard/team viewer) or remote session protocol. 1

You'll want to look at the log for a time just before the user tried to RDP in, to see who was logged in at that time. 0

It look like it was the autolongin that was causing the issue. Is there a way that I can set it up so that more thank one user can be logged into a machine at one time? My thought is to keep the admin logged in incase of issues? Thanks everone 0

No. Desktop OS only supports one user session at a time. Goverlan will allow you to remote in to the existing session if you need to help a user. 0

Wouldn't you get a warning saying there's another user logged in, do you want to sign that user out? That's at least I'm thinking. 0

If logging in with a different account, yes. If the same account, it just bumps the other user. 0
