Porsche panamera turbo executive đánh giá

You want a Porsche 911 Turbo but with four-door liftback practicality and proper rear seats? For the same money as a 911 Turbo coupe, Porsche can solve your problem in the form of the 2023 Porsche Panamera Turbo S we review here - a super-sedan with a twin-turbocharged V8 and 620 horsepower that can blast you to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. It only runs out of steam at 196 mph, should you find a long enough road to legally exploit its potential. It's a car of exceptional abilities, and although it can transport four passengers in comfort, it comes with a whole gamut of performance-enhancing Turbo S hardware, including all-wheel drive, carbon-ceramic brakes, adaptive air suspension, rear-axle steering, and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control with torque vectoring. Rivals offering this much performance with four-door hatchback practicality are few. The Audi RS7 follows the same hatchback template, while BMW M8 Gran Coupe is a rapid coupe-style sedan - and both are far cheaper than the Panamera. And you can get two 668-hp Cadillac CT5-V Blackwings for the price of a new Porsche Panamera Turbo S, just to put its price tag into perspective. So, is the Porker worth all that money?

Other than that, there are no changes to the two-trim range, and both the Turbo S and Turbo S Executive carry over unchanged. However, with a $186k starting price, the 2023 Porsche Panamera Turbo is slightly more expensive than last year.

Pros and Cons

2023 Porsche Panamera Turbo Handling and Driving Impressions

Many adjectives have been used to describe the Panamera Turbo's ride and handling, and we once again find ourselves gushing over its abilities. The roll-mitigation system keeps it flat through corners, while the rear-axle steering imparts a pointiness, rotating it into corners like an outsize Cayman. Hanging on for dear life is one thing, but quite another is tuning all the controls and systems in such a way that it's an enjoyable experience, and once again, Porsche nails it. The variable-ratio steering is perfectly weighted and precise, and the carbon-ceramic brakes shrug off excessive speeds repeatedly without breaking a sweat. In the background, the eight-speed PDK gearbox fires through the ratios without missing a beat, seemingly telepathically selecting the right gear and never wrong-footing it. But this is a four-door car, and once the pressure is off, it is every bit the executive sedan, quietly cruising the streets and blotting out road scars as though they don't exist. It quickly becomes obvious what you pay for; there is still no other luxury sedan that can play both cruiser and sports car roles as well as a new Porsche Panamera Turbo sports sedan.

Verdict: Is The 2023 Porsche Panamera Turbo A Good Car?

The 2023 Panamera Turbo is an expensive high-performance sedan, and there are many options in this class that can offer the same abilities on paper for far less money, so it certainly doesn't sell on value. What makes it unique is that it's the only one that genuinely feels like a bigger 911 Turbo, and that plugged-in Porsche feeling can be discerned blindfolded. There's no replacement for that, and if your sedan-shaped cruise missile should follow the Porsche rulebook of cheek-bulging cornering ability, the joyful handling of something half its weight, and everyday comfort, the Panamera Turbo S is in a class of one and is worth every cent of its high price.

What 2023 Porsche Panamera Turbo Model Should I Buy?

Whether you opt for the regular Turbo S or the long-wheelbase Executive will depend on whether that back seat is going to do rapid CEO-chauffeuring duty, as the added space and second-row luxuries are the main differences between the two for $10k-odd more. How much you want to personalize the car in terms of the interior and exterior trim and appearance packages is also up to you. However, items we would add regardless are the Assistance package in order to get the surround-view monitor and night vision, along with the Premium package that contains ventilated front seats, LED matrix-design headlights, four-zone climate control, and lane-change assist.
